TEACHER + Grants for 2022 & 2023
Pillar II for the Pettisville School Foundation provides funds for teachers or staff for innovative ideas, creative approaches to problems, or meet needs.
The first grant was awarded in 1986 and rewarded students with good attendance. It was successful in decreasing the absence rate among students and provided some good memories along the way. Grants had a typical maximum amount of $300 but that amount was increased to $500 in 2021.
Since that first grant, the PSF has awarded over $70,000 in grants.

Field Day Inflatables by PSF & Athletic Boosters
Beanbag chairs to relax and enjoy reading in the library
Students write and self-publish a novella.
“Wobble chairs" to assist kdg students needing motion
Student Led Coffee Cart
Coding for Kids. Kdg students program a robot mouse.
Classroom Library Novel Sets supporting curriculum in 5 & 6 grade

The Pettisville School Foundation and 5 local Pettisville businesses worked together to provide the staff at Pettisville Schools with gift cards during Teacher Appreciation Week.
